Captain's Log - June 6, 2009
Tparen, Jun 6, 09 4:13 PM.

Congratulations are in order to the entire Blackheart Pirates for the jolly good showing that the kin put forth last night, June 5, 2009.

At 9:30 PM, central time, to an overflow crowd in at Weatherstock (as seen in the picture HERE) the Pirate Band performed.  The band was composed of Brubaker, Kyarra, Joyeuse, Neru, Sudor and Tpar.  Lebury organized the proceedings but was unable to attend. They performed Yoho, Paddy Get Back, and Sant Yano.  Each went well and was well received.  At the end of all of the bands, the Pirates Band did Gone With the Wind.  A photo of the band performing their main act can be seen HERE.  Thanks to the incredible support from the pirates online, as well as a number of our loyal allies, the Pirates WON!  There was a contest which provided 5 gold to the winning band.  Every band got 1 gold just for participating, so each band member went home with 1 gold at the end of the night.

Billiant also won the contest for killing the most crabans at the top of Weathertop.  Alltogether, the Pirates swept the competition, and it further goes to show, that, stupid contests from Turbine not-withstanding, the Blackheart Pirates truely are the One Kin that Rules them All!  Keep up the good work!

Captain's Log - May 31, 2009
Tparen, May 31, 09 2:43 PM.

A hardy band of pirates began an evening of Pillage and Plunder under the command of Lt. Lebury at 10:00 PM on May 29, 2009.  A link to this hardy group can be found HERE.  The evening was a smashing success.  As can be seen by this MAP the BHP and friends were successful in keeping the Ettenmoors almost entirely devoid of Creeps for the evening.  Numerous Creep attacks against strongholds garrisoned by the  BHP were wiped out, and the effect on Creem morale was noticeable. Special thanks to Amlinrandir for the photos.

Congratulations to all of the Pirate members who participated.  Anyone who is interested in participating please check the calender for more scheduled Ettenmoors events!

A Raiding we will go
GaryMiller, Apr 5, 09 5:29 PM.

It is my joyous pleasure to inform the kin that the Raid on the Moors was a rousing success. Our member turn out was plentiful. We entered the moors at around 8:30 P.M Pacific time and marshaled our forces, From there Raid Commander Lebury lead us on a rousing attack of two of the enemy outposts that we easily swept aside and claimed for the Blackheart Pirates and all free people, from there we received flag signals from another vessel in distress. So using the rules of the sea we charged to the rescue. Once on scene we routed the enemies with a flanking hit and drove them back to their cavern. After our victory we rested and healed our wounded before pressing on to assist in the battle to free the land, after a few encounters with the overwhelming forces of the moors Raid Commander Lebury decided we should try a stealth attack on there northern outpost. Taking a long forgotten pass we quickly made our way there, with out incident. Once there we easily swept aside the guards to the commander of the garrison, who with his bodyguards we later tricked out of the way, we did battle under the guidance of Lebury and we laid this threat low, From here we quickly found  out that the enem'ys trained Drakes have a spiteful nature against the Elvin contingent of our group, as we were constantly having to assist our Elvin members escape there clutches, as we made our way to the central island to assist in defending the bridges. We then fought a holding tactic for as long as we could, but I am sorry to say in the end we had to egress to the ship as the enemies all seeing eye saw fit to throw the bounty of evil our way and our alliance with the free people was waning. All in all our party had much fun and  I hope we plan another assault soon.
